Pistol Shooting Lessons (Full Package Your Choice of Day Saturday or Sunday)

First time shooter? Just got your first handgun or planning on purchasing your first handgun?

You will have the opportunity to learn with a variety of different size pistols and pistol setups ( Red Dot Optic, Ported Barrel, etc.) Perfect for getting an idea of what you like and dislike regarding your potential first firearm purchase. 

-Find out the process of acquiring a firearm.  Let us give you the information needed to confidently go and acquire your first firearm.  

Want to become a better shooter?

-Let me show you techniques to help take your shooting skills to a higher level.

-Learn techniques to make your shots more accurate (better groups).

-Learn effective techniques to hold your firearm in order to help reduce recoil and get     back on target quickly.

-Learn how to safely operate your firearm. Firearm safety is very important.

-Learn proper sight picture, sight alignment. 

-Learn good hand and foot placement.

Opportunity to try out different pistol setups and firearm sizes. 

-You will have the opportunity to try out pistols with iron sights or a red dot optic. Find out what sighting system is right for you as well as how to properly use each sighting system. 

-Find out which size handgun and barrel length is right for you. Different size pistols (Glock 19, 17, 34). 

-Try out a ported or -non-ported (Barrel has ports drilled into the barrel to help reduce felt recoil) firearm.  See if the benefits of a ported barrel is right for you.

- Different Iron sight pictures.  Get an idea of which type of iron sight picture you prefer (Blacked out iron sights, 3 dot sights , night sights, bright dot font sight with blacked out rear sight.)

-All lessons are held at your local "Shoot Smart Gun Range" in Grand Prairie (Zip Code 75050).

Range fee approximately $25.00 plus tax.

What does the package include?

-50 rounds of 9mm ammunition.

- Time frame is for one hour to an hour and a half, or until out of ammunition.

-One large shooting target (23in x 35in), Plus target stickers. 

-Eye and ear protection

-Different size pistols to try out.  Find out what size firearm fits your hand best. (Glock 19,17,and 34)

-Choice of shooting pistols with iron sights, red dot optic, non-ported barrel, and ported barrel (Shoot and try out all setups. see what your like.).

-Training in firearm safety. Learn to safely handle a firearm.

-Training in proper shooting stance and shooting techniques to help you become a better shooter. 

Dates and start time:

-Lessons are by appointment only.

-This package is offered Saturday or Sunday. You choose the day and the time (Gun Range is open from 10am to 7pm). You will be contacted via e-mail or phone call to set up what day you will like your lesson to be held.  Appointments are on a first come first serve basis. 

-Meet up is at the Shoot Smart gun range (2440 W Main St, Grand Prairie, TX, 75050)

Recommended Attire:

-Baseball cap recommended. If you have long hair pleased have it tied up.

-High neck t-shirt 

-Closed toe shoes. No sandals or heels. 

-Suggest not wearing earrings due to the shooting ear muffs.
